CE Marking
The CE mark demonstrates that the product meets the requirements of relevant European directives. It is mandatory for a wide range of products sold within or exported to the European CE mark on a products.
Indicates to government/s that the product can be legally sold within the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Area (EFTA).
The CE mark is an essential requirement for the manufacturer to declare that the product complies with all relevant European directives. Conformity to the CE marking is a mandatory legal requirement of the member states of the European Union and countries of the European Economic Area. These countries are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, United Kingdom. It is likely that other countries will adopt this guideline in the near future. In order to sell a product in any of these countries, CE marking is a basic requirement.
